Today's a Good Day!!!!

Howdy folks...today is Friday, June 15th and it's a good day for a few reasons..... 1) it's my birthday today and all you need to know is that I may be over the hill, I'm NOT over the thrill (I saw that on a stamp set - isn't that the greatest quote?!!??!)   2) I took the day off from work so I could sit back and enjoy this special day and (3) in today's post I get to link you guys to my first ever projects for the Let's Make Greeting Cards (LMGC) design team.  I'm so excited to be part of the first ever design team for this website. 

Before we get started I have to tell you something cute.....my 81 year old mother that lives with me can't remember things (darn dementia) so I have a white board calendar on her dresser for the month so she can see what month, day, events, etc. are coming up.  So. of course I wrote on the board that today is my birthday.  And since she can't remember too well, she's asked me about 8 times 'Heidi, is today your birthday?' and I say 'yes' and she tells me Happy Birthday.  Thank goodness for calendars!!!

Okay, so let's get started......my project themes for LMGC for June were Anniversary and Birthday.

Well, that's going to do it for me today.  I have to figure out where to go for dinner tonight.  It's time to Par-Tay......maybe I should take a nap first...LOL!

    Hi Heidi! i haven't been on here is so long, and I see I missed a bunch! I'm sitting down with my cup of coffee, and I can't wait to catch up. First of all, congratulations on making the Design team! How exciting! Your stuff is AMAZING, so I'm not surprised :)

      That's okay Val - since you haven't been posting much on your own blog I knew you were busy with the family for summer vacation and if you're too busy for your own blog, I don't expect participation on mine. I'm glad you're finally able to sit with a cup of coffee, relax and catch up. I'm stoked about the design team too. It's pretty exciting.
