Are You a Crafty Chick???

If so....welcome to Crafty Chick's first Blog Hop!

We're a team of 9 amazing designers, and we've all joined together to showcase our creations and to hopefully provide you the inspiration that we ALL need sometimes!

Every month Crafty Chick's will have a different theme, and offer a prize to one lucky winner.  In order to be eligible to win this prize we're asking that you leave us some blog love (via comment) on each of our blogs telling us what you like and don't like about our project (gasp!! be gentle). That's it, easy peasy!  Once you've left a comment on all the blogs, click 'Did It' on Rafflecopter at the bottom of this post.  You'll be able to enter additional entries as well - we have a fun scavenger hunt for you - we have hidden a crafty 'chick' in one of our project photos.  Leave a comment in Rafflecopter telling us where you found our hidden 'chick'.

The prize being offered this month is a fabulous mini album kit from Archiver's; it's called 'Daily Junque' and it comes from Pink Paislee.

Elizabeth starts off our blog hop, you can check out Elizabeth's blog HERE if you want to start at the beginning of if you get lost along the way.

The blog hop runs for one week so you have until the end of day June 22nd (midnight) to comment on all the blog stops; the winner will be announced on Monday June 24th on Elizabeth's blog HERE We will also contact the winner, so make sure we have your contact information when you enter.  Winner will have one week to claim the prize or another winner will be chosen.

Okay, now that all the necessary housekeeping duties have been done....on to Crafty Chick's first HOP and the theme for June is WEDDINGS.

You should have come to me from Megan's blog HERE,

My project is a bridal shower invitation.

I cut a circle out of Eclipse Masking tape and placed it in the center of the card as a mask.  Using the 'Flower Friend' stamp set from Simon Says Stamp, I used a variety of Hero Arts Shadow Inks to stamp flowers all around my cardstock.  I stamped the champagne glass and greeting in the center once mask was removed.  I then die cut and stamped the banner, rounded only the bottom right hand corners, offset my layers and attached some black satin ribbon.  The glass got a nice coating of Glossy Accents to give it some shine. I finished the card with a few clear gems for sparkle.

Supplies used:
Stamp sets:  'Flower Friend' (Simon Says Stamp); 'Home Sweet Home' and 'Harold's ABCs' (Lawn Fawn); 'Hubby & Wifey' and 'Salutations' (Paper Smooches)
Hero Arts Shadow Inks:  'Tide Pool'; 'Pale Tomato'; 'Butter Bar'; 'Soft Leaf'; 'Wet Cement; 'Soft Canteloupe' as well as 'Momento Black Tuxedo'
Miscellaneous:  Glossy Accents by Ranger, satin ribbon, clear gemstones, corner rounder, adhesive, Eclipse Masking tape

From here, the next amazing designer in the hop is Krysthle and you can find her blog HERE.
