Tiddly Inks - Wryn Blooms

Hello my friends! Today I'm posting a card I made for Tiddly Inks.  If you haven't checked them out before you should, they have some of the cutest digital and clear stamps around.  They are currently running a DT call that ends at the end of day, July 31st.  So get your entries in if you're like me and enjoy waiting until the 11th hour to enter!!!

The image I'm using is called 'Wryn Blooms'.  She's really cute holding that huge bundle of flowers...I've colored the image with my Copic markers and cut it (and the sun) out using Lifestyle Crafts Nesting Pinking rectangle and circle dies.   The background paper is from Lawn Fawn's 'Pink Lemonade' paper pack.  The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp 'Flower Friend' set.  The ribbon is from May Arts and the enamel dots are from My Minds Eye.

You should have come to me from Valerie's blog  HERE

Since the theme is Christmas in July I was thinking about what I could do.  Did I want to make a traditional Christmas card?  How could I incorporate summer fun with Christmas?  I decided to make a card that looks like a Christmas present being opened.  Inside the present is a picture of a cutie patootie in a bathing suit at the beach.

I took watercolor paper and Stampin Up ink refills in Saraha Sand, Marina Mist and Bashful Blue and watercolored a background of sand, water and sky.  The 'Summer Girl' is a digital image from Mo Manning. She is colored using my COPIC markers and her sunglasses have a coating of Glossy Accents. She was fussy cut and popped up on foam adhesive.   Here's a close up:
From here, the next amazing designer in the hop is Megan and you can find her blog HERE.

If you're having a good time with this blog hop make sure to follow us on our blogs, Facebook, or any other social media the designers have set up.  Also, please feel free to share with your friends.
